About the Founder – Honouring Kerala’s Ancient Healing Wisdom

Jeevodaya Ayurveda Hospital was founded by Sri. Punnoose M.I., a dedicated healer with more than 25 years of experience in traditional Kerala Ayurvedic treatment and Kalari Chikitsa (Kalari-based therapeutic healing). At age 58, Sri. Punnoose continues to bring hope and healing to individuals through time-tested methods rooted in Kerala’s ancient wisdom.

Meet Sri. Punnoose M.I– Founder & Chief Ayurvedic Practitioner, Jeevodaya Ayurveda Hospital, Kerala and his wife Mrs. Shiney Punnoose.

Trained by a Legendary Master

Sri. Punnoose’s journey into holistic healing began under the mentorship of the late P. Vasudevan Gurukkal, one of Kerala’s most respected Kalari Gurukkals (grandmasters) of the C.V.N. Kalari lineage. Through years of intense training, he mastered the subtle techniques of Kerala’s traditional Ayurveda, Kalari Marma therapy, and the martial art of Kalaripayattu – a practice known not only for self-defense but also for restoring energy flow and healing the body.

Serving Since 1996 – Ayurveda with Compassion

Since 1996, Sri. Punnoose has been actively offering Ayurvedic treatments that address the root causes of disease, focusing on long-term wellness, detoxification, pain management, spine and joint care, and stress relief. His treatments are deeply personalized and rooted in the authentic Ayurvedic practices of Kerala, making Jeevodaya a trusted destination for overseas patients seeking genuine Ayurveda experiences in India.
